Our mission is to help train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6). AFTER SCHOOL is a ministry designed to reach our community and provide students and families with homework assistance, academic enhancement/tutoring, physical activity and personal care, all with a Christian, faith-based emphasis through the use of animals and agriculture.
Registration
To register your child/children, please return (in person) your completed registration forms with your first weeks tuition payment to Kirkman Farm Ministries. Early registration deadline is Thursday, August 21, 2025 to ensure your place for after school.
Hours of Operation
Our hours of operation are based on the Craven County Schools TRADITIONAL calendar (August 25, 2025 – May 21, 2026). AFTER SCHOOL is available from school dismissal until 6:00 pm. After School closes promptly at 6:00 pm. If your child is here after 6:00 pm, you may be charged $1.00 per minute. We will operate on the days in which students are in school. For early Early Release days, we will pick-up students at the early dismissal time.
Routine Transportation
AFTER SCHOOL students will have transportation provided by Kirkman Farm Ministries. Please notify us immediately for your child’s safety if he/she will not be pick-up by us on a certain day. This would include: if they get sick and leaves early; they are a car rider; someone else picks them up; family vacation; or leaves after awards program etc.
Tuition
Tuition is based on a student being either PART TIME (1-2 days/week) or FULL TIME (3-5 days/week). The Part Time (1-2 days per week) rate is $30 per child and the Full Time (3-5 days) rate is $75 per child. The tuition rate is the same amount regardless of attendance or hours. Checks should be made payable to KIRKMAN FARM MINISTRIES. There will be a $20.00 returned check fee. Payment is due on the MONDAY of each week your child will be attending. Nonattendance does not entitle a refund.
